We have opened an “interest list” form for the next affordable housing community managed by Evolve! Located in Albany, Colonia del Valle Próspero will be the second FHDC-owned and Evolve-managed community in Linn County, further extending the organization’s reach.

Summer Updates at Evolve
Later this year, Evolve is preparing for the completion of FHDC’s new affordable housing community in Albany, Colonia del Valle Prospero (CDVP) Phase I. Once complete, Evolve will begin leasing units and training community affordable housing managers to welcome new families into the property. CDVP is an FHDC development, and Evolve will manage the property once it opens, marking Albany as the newest addition to Evolve's growing portfolio of communities.
Housing Equity Capacity Building Strategy Training
The team was invited to discuss the experience of identifying/designing a resident services plan for supportive housing projects, as well as best practices for PM, AM, and RS working together. FHDC’s Senior Asset Manager, Christian Meneses-Zurita, shared: “We are fortunate to have a strong Property Management and Resident Services team, both with years of experience in their respective roles. It’s always a pleasure to discuss how having all departments working collaboratively can create significant benefits for the portfolio, especially considering the long road it has taken to get to where we are today.”

Property Highlight: Colonia Unidad
Evolve Workforce manages 12 properties across three counties and seven cities. Among them is Colonia Unidad, located in the heart of Woodburn. This community is part of the Farmworker Housing Development Corporation (FHDC) affordable housing portfolio and serves as a symbol of collaboration, resilience, and progress.
T.E.A.C.H. Program To Launch New Cohort
The T.E.A.C.H. program is almost ready to launch a new cohort with the participation of community members! The Property Management Training Series will feature interactive workshops that will introduce participants to the property management sector within affordable housing. The training will emphasize both technical skills and soft skills that are crucial for personal and professional growth.
Promotores Program Creates Community Across FHDC Properties
Members from Evolve and FHDC teamed up to create a comprehensive training experience aimed at empowering and motivating Promotoras. Promotoras came together at Colonia Libertad and Colonia Paz for a series of two-hour sessions throughout the month of February. The goals of these gatherings included strengthening leadership, sharing resources, and fostering collaboration within the community.
