Properties & Communities
Later this year, Evolve is preparing for the completion of FHDC’s new affordable housing community in Albany, Colonia del Valle Prospero (CDVP) Phase I. Once complete, Evolve will begin leasing units and training community affordable housing managers to welcome new families into the property. CDVP is an FHDC development, and Evolve will manage the property once it opens, marking Albany as the newest addition to Evolve's growing portfolio of communities.
Programs & Workforce
Property Management Training, Cohort 9
From January to March, Evolve completed its ninth cohort of the Property Management Basics program, training a diverse and committed group of participants. Highlights included a 92% completion rate, 32 hours of continuing education, 10 hours of hands-on practice with working property managers, and 15 guest speakers from the industry, delivered in a mostly online, flexible format.
Community Promotores Training for FHDC Residents
Evolve recently concluded its support of FHDC for the Promotores program, a workshop series designed by Evolve that began in April. This cohort of FHDC resident leaders committed their time and energy to strengthening their skills and serving as a bridge among residents, staff, and community organizations, work that benefits the broader community they serve.
